Block Management UK Ltd ensures that planned and cyclical maintenance requirements are recorded on our electronic scheduling system, helping ensure that works are identified, budgeted for and arranged in good time. This includes internal and external redecoration, lift servicing, pumping station maintenance and other communal equipment and service contracts. Where required, we will obtain quotations, appoint suitable contractors and coordinate the works to ensure that maintenance is completed at the appropriate time.
Our approach to planned maintenance also extends beyond routine schedules and existing service contracts. During property inspections potential maintenance issues that may require attention, such as damaged fencing, boundary walls, deteriorating communal areas or other elements of the building and estate. By identifying these issues early and planning remedial works appropriately, we aim to help Clients manage expenditure, protect their property's condition and reduce the risk of more costly repairs developing in the future.
Where maintenance requirements are more complex or involve significant expenditure, Block Management UK Ltd will assess the need for suitably qualified surveyors or other competent professionals to support the process. This may include preparing detailed specifications, obtaining and evaluating competitive tenders, advising on the appointment of contractors and providing contract administration or professional supervision throughout the works.
