Estate agent portfolio handover to Block Management UK Block Management UK has recently signed a multi-site management deal with well-known East Anglian estate agents Lacey Scott and Knight. We will be managing a portfolio of four properties located in Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Risby, supporting our further growth strategy in East Anglia. The largest property is 57 units and we will be managing mainly on behalf of freeholders. The properties are a mix of modern and older blocks that have been refurbished, some with parking, some with lifts, some with commercial units. As part of our thorough handover process, there are a few outstanding tasks to perform such as: arranging planned maintenance works/repairs transfer of utilities including emergency lift line upcoming buildings and D&O renewal maintenance of existing contractors' agreements overdue accounts The property details are uploaded to our Qube PM management software and then documents and information will be made available to all freeholders and residents through our online client portal. As is common with handovers, the last major task will be the transference of funds. Once this has happened, and our management start date has commenced, only then is Block Management UK the legal managing agent and can attend to outstanding tasks.
